Yes, the US Army used a lot of the M4A1 medium tank ("Sherman II" to the British). A few M4s were received as replacements after the Kasserine Pass battles. In the 1st Armored Division one battaloion still had M3 mediums as did one seperate medium battalion. The 70th Tank Battalion used M5s and the light tank elements of the 1st Armored used M3 "Stuarts". The recon units in the armored and tank destroyer units used M3A1 Scout Cars and jeeps. The tank destroyers used M3 halftrack 75mm guns with some early M10 SP 3' guns arriving near the end of the campaign. Various units had halftracks, the M2 and M3 models (early versions). The 2 1/2 ton trucks mostly had closed cabs (like the FoV model)
