I’m sorry Pat and Pat. It’s always tough when we lose a member of our family. Stay well.

Never let it be said that we don't love Schnauzers or Toy Soldiers, please.
Tell me "Schnapps" pictured above is not a Miniature Schnauzer!
So there's a TS tie-in.
Post or PM if you have this set and want to sell at a decent price, by the way. May be interested in small sale/trade.

Anyway Best to All & Be Grateful for those you Love, even Pets!

So we bought a new one. A girlie.
$5000. The breeder, she said "your tax is as bad as Cali's!"
Dad said we are proud as citizens to pay it.
So that shows you all how we feel in Illinois.

Also, $60 or so for that TGM set?
We can still be cheapis{sm4}

PADDY

Pat and Paddy,

Sorry for your loss and congratulations on your new family member.

Pat...
my condolences...
I'm a mini-schnauzer fan myself...
this is Boo...actually Boo III...
now my 4th schnauzer...
first was Magic...then Boo I...then Boo II...
Boo III...was born Dec 2016...
almost 15 years old...
he used to be so active...
now he just eats and sleeps and lays in my lap...
I spoil the hell out of him...
last night he ate Chinese food with me...
his time is limited...as we all are...
used to chase "the ball" like a maniac...
couldn't even say that word in his presence...he would get so excited if the word "ball" was even uttered...
like Gollum from Lord of the Rings......it was his precious...he literally slept with it...loved to play catch...would wear me out...
now when I throw it....he just looks at me...lol...doesn't chase it anymore...he's sooooo old...
I feel your pain...they become our children...
apologize for the backdrop...
Hurricane Nicholas got me...
they are coming today to build me a new fence...

Thanks Mike!
We are going for #4 ourselves, unless you count the 3 Dad's family had. They certainly are active friends when they're young! Fiesty and friendly.
Our Pepper IIIrd got more and more lethargic as well. His beloved toys held less and less interest.
So we spoiled him too! He enjoyed some Cashew Chicken himself.
It's very sad to see a pet you raise like a kid get old, they are with us all the time.
I'm happy to hear Boo III had made it so long! Almost 15 is very healthy, our oldest was just short of 14. I'm sure he enjoys every day with you, that's why we make them count!
Sorry to see the Hurricane got you. Hope you are all well despite the yard destruction!
Best Wishes

Oh & Columbo says one more thing (or so):

Love the LoR reference! Their favorite toy (or thing to do) does become a complete obssesion for mini schanzuers. Also, remember how sad but hopeful the book could be. Maybe Boo will live as long as Aragorn (I forget his final age, but it was impressive.)

We shall sprinkle his ashes in his beloved yard tomorrow. And bury the urn with his favorite toys.

Watch out for Hurricanes and High Winds! The proximity of a Tornado brought a huge Oak down on our old dog fence just a month ago. So we bought a new one. Hope it comes in handy again! Just glad he wasn't around (not that we would have taken him out in gale force winds - he was tough but tiny!)

A special Best Wishes for Mike and all the Animal Lovers and every one who had been so kind, as usual!

Pat, so sorry to hear the loss of your beloved pet. We lost one of our German Shorthair Pointers a few months ago. You'll always have the memories with one who was part of your family. Chris

a rare pic of mum (well, not all of her) with me and my new dog.

She is a very good girl!

BTW, any advice on grass-eating dogs? It's her only flaw (so far)

Anyway, Bet Wishes & here's a quote from a nice card from a good friend:
Good Dogs are with us for a little while
To teach us how to Love like it's our job.
And it is.

Yayyy! Weeee! Again, Best Wishes & look out for fleas and viruses!
