Hi guys,

I purchased a new K&C figure set recently, SPG Crew Members (WH060). What a beautiful duo! I'm not planning to purchase the SPG, but my crew was planned for the Panzer III Ausf. N. I've grown a bit tired of picturing with half soldier commander or grey Wehrmacht Infantry.

I'd really like to applaud K&C for this little 2-pack, a most versatile set - and I love the Commander! I always appreciate when the figure faces have a little character and both of these figures hit the mark. The Commander has a 5 o'clock shadow and looks slightly gaunt and worried; the shell carrying crewman's face has some different degrees of shading adding to his detail.

I envision my new Panzer Crew on some exciting missions facing a few different challenges. Here they are at rest somewhere along the countryside.

Totally agree my friend...and there are more of both in the pipeline!
Great photos....Thanks for putting them up.
Happy Collecting! Andy.

Great pic's Rob and I agree, the figures are very versatile and can be used with various armoured vehicles and scenes.

Great pics with some of my favorite recent King & Country figures. I picked these up at last year's Meet 'n Greet at Sierra in September 2016.

Great shots and idea mate.
Thanks Wayne.

Thanks. I've got a few more on my wish list. Darn these cool German figures.

Hi Rob,

while we're waiting for the good news on the doorstep, we've enjoyed the sight of our crews. As can you see below, I agree with you about these figures :smile2::smile2:

Best regards

Enrico :)

Figarti and First Legion have both done panzer Kommanders that are full figures with small or no bases; that can fit into the turret cupola or stand next to the Panzer. I have the two K&C 1/2 figure sets and I wish they would make some dual purpose full figures. Removable bases would be a good feature to facilitate the dual use IMO.

Hi Enrico, would you believe I have the figure that you've pictured coming soon? He's a really nice one!

That's a nice idea Katana. Half soldiers are great for turrets but sooner or later, you want to create a scene with them in full body. Hard to incorporate both 1/2 and whole. I wouldn't mind some action poses as well - yelling/shouting, being shot, etc. A crew set of 3-5 figures would be nice as well.

Great figures !

Very well staged and photographed.

Thank you.

This is not Andy's first rodeo. Here is a photo of the first full figure Waffen SS tank crew, WSS4, released in February, 1993 (standing in front of one of the first wood Tiger and Panther Tanks made by K&C):

Here are some photos of the first matt full figure tank crew, and the rarest regular production matt figures ever released by K&C, WS04, only depicted in the June-July, 1997 flyer, standing alongside the resin and metal Jagdpanther, and is omitted from all the price lists except the February, 1996 list, which indicates the set is being re-designed, but omits the price, and the March, 1998 Dealer’s Price List In these photos, the figures are depicted with the original resin and metal Kubelwagon and wood and metal Stug III on a custom K&C Normandy Bocage Diorama designed by Andy and executed by Gordon in 1999:

Great photos Louis and a nice K&C history lesson. Amazing that they stated doing matte figures that late!

The first matt K&C WWII figures were the 1st Arnhem release on September 17, 1995 (I'm not kidding, the day and date of release are in the Flyer), the 50th anniversary of Operation Market-Garden.

Some really cool shots. I think the figures have really improved over time.

True but we need some half poses for the new js ii that cold be used for an action seen instead of an at rest seen

I think Honor Bound did some a while back that were resupplying their tank with main gun rounds, that I always admired. Anybody that's served in a mech unit has had to "break track" (and after doing it once I decided that "Airborne" was a better fit for me), refueling's another common task, and what refit scene couldn't use a welder...
