My darling wife who i adore has this morning issued me a challenge. She has stated openly in public and in front of our cats(one called Monty, she wouldn't let me call the other one Rommel!)that if i lose a stone in weight by the time of the next London show (30th June)she will buy me any k&C item over and above anything i was going to buy anyway.

So as of today i am officially on a diet(i love a challenge!).My statistics are at present 14.6 stone.I love travel, meeting people, riding naked into the sunset.........sorry thought i was back in my Miss world days for a moement.!

So i would appreciate your support and a blanket ban on the mentioning C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E.

Carrying tons of toy soldiers isn't good for your health  - your back anyway...:D

good for stress though.....unless the wife sees..:)

Well thank you everyone for your wishes.I shall think of you as i tuck into my bowl of special K for lunch!.yum yum:( the things i'll do for a Hummel!!.

I'm afraid the police seized my Miss world pictures under the pornography act-they weren't pretty.I hope to lose loads of weight for the show.In which case i'll be wearing an extra baggy Mac for extra stowage!.Of course i could just take a Mars bar, hold it in front of Tony, and then throw it across the hall. When he runs to fetch it help myself!!!!!What you think of my cunning plan, and wil he fall for it?:D

I'm going to take you up on that trip to Hershey HQ one day Ron;)

Rob

Rob,

If you can lose a lot of weight, it will help your frame. All that extra weight puts pressure on the back. Secondly, keep your stomach muscles strong and your hamstrings as loss as you can. That also relieves pressure on the back.

Good luck!

Thanks Brad, your right of course.Fourteen years i've had this injury and the weight has steadily grown and my back grown steadily worse. So its a big incentive to lose weight(along with the Hummel of course;) )

14.6 stone

Rob, how much is 14.6 stone in "real weight"? :p Like maybe pounds. We in the former colonies don't use stones as a measure of weight and for the life of me I don't know how to convert. Is it 10 stones equal 1 rock or is it 10 rocks equal 1 stone? And what about pebbles or chips? Oh yeah, I forgot, french fries are chips in the UK. :) :)
