Now she's done it!! (1 Viewer)

My darling wife who i adore has this morning issued me a challenge. She has stated openly in public and in front of our cats(one called Monty, she wouldn't let me call the other one Rommel!)that if i lose a stone in weight by the time of the next London show (30th June)she will buy me any k&C item over and above anything i was going to buy anyway.

So as of today i am officially on a diet(i love a challenge!).My statistics are at present 14.6 stone.I love travel, meeting people, riding naked into the sunset.........sorry thought i was back in my Miss world days for a moement.!

So i would appreciate your support and a blanket ban on the mentioning C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E.

Rob,

I just lost 29 lbs on the nutrasystem diet (from January 6th until last week). The food isn't great, but the diet definitely works. If they have it in the U.K., you might give it a shot.

Wow Louis, two stone since xmas!.Thats superb, well done. Will look out for that one.

I still think the diet you're on - The K&C Diet, has got to be the best one around. With Weight Watchers you get a little gold pin or key thingy.

With The K&C Diet, you get a Hummel, hand delivered by either J Aniston or T Neville - whoever is available on the day.

Actually, that might be an idea for K&C UK - branch out in to the weight loss business. They could match you pound for pound - however many pounds weight you lose each week, they would match by giving you the same weight's worth of K&C goods.

Full of good ideas me. :)

You should be on the K&C board of directors mate!.Their motto could be "lose a stone gain a tank!"

I lost a pound already so thirteen to go.The wife is looking at dishing out some dosh for my Hummel in June.

Now as for delivery person its difficult,Jennifer is a Hot hot woman but Tony would bring a Mars Bar!!!!!!:D

Isn't that a 'milky way' in the us? - the mars bar not the hot woman....

Rob, you are brilliant by the way;) ....Would anyone like to sign up for my sponsored slimming? - all proceeds to the panda collection :) - a charity not registered yet but in a very good cause - the aim of the charity is to prevent depression - in Pandas....:D One K&C box of goodies for each milli-ounce lost.

Rob, sorry I haven't weighed in on this subject(pun intended) I can tell you having some expertise in this subject that all those phoney and baloney diets do not work so well when you are off the diet. Over the last 21 months I have lost 10 inches around my belly. How you might ask, well you might. I cut down the portion size that is all. I eat what I want when I want it. I just don't eat all of it. In a restaurant I will eat a little over half and then save the rest for later. Ir helps that I have a somewhat active life, but I did gain the weight with the same lifestyle. So portion size seems to be the answer at least for me. It is not a rapid way to lose weight I will admit but it works over the long haul because the stomach actually will shrink. Going to a buffet style dinner is almost a money looser for me:D I wish you much luck in your endeavor

That would seem to be the most sensible advice I've heard if it just wasn't common sense. It stands to reason that if you reduce the intake of what you're taking in, you're bound to lose some weight.

That's how the nutri system diet works. Its portion control, and the food is kind of yucky, so you don't mind the small portions that much.

Thank you Joe i appreciate that. And thank you KV too.I think you are spot on with your advice. For me it is also about portion control. The amount of pasta i would have had on my plate, you'd have thought Italy was popping round for dinner. But i have cut down portions, eating more fruit and veg and taking what excercise my back will allow and am already seeing results. Will let you know how i go,thanks again for all your support everyone.

Rob:)
