I was playing around, checking Craigslist to see if people list toy soliders...and I ran across this one from NYC. Anyone have 25 grand??

I think that I would have to see it in person to ensure I was getting stuff that was worth the price. I would think Dealers near there might want to check it out. If the items are really worth 100K then I think you have a good investment to take to shows. I don't really know the business side of things, so it's just my thoughts. Too bad I don't collect the old Britian and such.
 
I think this collection has been advertized elsewhere, before showing up on CL. It looks vaguely familiar to me. I think I saw it either in one of the magazines, or on eBay, or on a forum, perhaps even here.

I believe it was on Ebay - Buy It Now for $85 thou but obviously it did not sell
 
Must be tough times, no way would I take 25K for 100k collection unless extremely desperate. I would also be more apt to sell it through a known auction house or split it up and sell on eBay.
 
This is one of those auctions that will never sell. If they are in NYC or nearby they need to use an auction house like Sothebys or Philip Weiss and then perhaps they will reach the correct venue for a good return.
