October Release - Scenic Mats (1 Viewer)

That looks great, Rob!
Thanks.
This close-up shows the detailing of the mat a little better:

Is the terrain a picture or is it just fine set? Is there grass or just picture or images of grass and road?

They do look useful

It is a flat two dimensional image designed by a graphic artist to be as three dimensional as possible. It gives the illusion of three dimensions along with the ability to stand your figures on it with no danger of them toppling over. We have accessories in the works that can be placed on our mats that will help sell the three dimension effect.

Customers who have trialed them have returned for more mats as it has changed their diorama making capabilities completely.

Thank you. I will give one a try!

As I previously stated, I am a big fan of these 3 mats on offer. This grass mat is being used for a permanent Roman shelf display. Holding out for perhaps a Desert and Winter version. Robin.

Perfect fit Rob. These terrain mats are working well with our hobby.
Thanks Robin. Completely agree with you; great mats for our tabletop and bookshelf dios. Of the two; grass and dirt track, I esp. like the dirt. I find that certain pieces/colors just photograph well and the dirt track does exactly that. Love it with vehicles! Just trying to figure out the right crater for the dirt mat.

I've got a few winter Tigers/vehicles that I think would look great on a winter road. Desert would be equally nice. Just need to make some more shelf space. ^&grin

I think you've seen this one, but love how the dirt mat photographs:

Yes looks quite different in B/W. I had 2 grass mats as mobile terrain setups, but these are now allocated to permanent base for my Jacobite revival, so I intend to purchase another 2 as soon as there are some new additions to select from. Although flat they do sort of have a 3d aspect, but so much better for standing figures and foliage etc. The road mat can be used for Roman to modern times, so very versatile. Glad you are finding the same delight for these as me. Robin.

Hoping they are just around the corner. I am aware, but can’t say, there is a couple of different ones yet again, which are sure to excite forum members, certainly me. Robin.

They look great in the photos. I saw them in the store but didnt take to them. But they do look great In pics

I must look to these mats to utilise for my collection. Lovely work from the company.

Hello,

Any update on the release of new mats (winter or desert)?

Hi Rob,
The Rocky Desert Scenic mats with and without tracks will be available from next week onward, as we are bringing them to the Chicago Show.
Winter mats (with and without tracks) are in production and will be available before Christmas, all going as planned...
Kind regards
