Odd.... (1 Viewer)

One bidder bid (with private feedback) $150, and the second (with feedback of 2) bid up to and over the $150. I suspect it's pure coincidence that the abbreviated 'codes' for the 2 bidders are both shown as a***s.

O.k...I think the private bidder used automatic bidding which can be seen in the lightly grey shaded bids...if so than the automatic bidders bids chased the non-auto bidder...I just don't see why the non-auto bidders bids where stepped up like $2-$3-$15-$10-$2.50 ect...seems the non-auto bidder would have had to of entered all these weird odd $$$ amounts for the auto bidders bids to match each one rather than just match the non-auto bidder with his highest bid?

I just re-read my post again...I got a headache!

The non-auto bidder was probably trying to find out how high the auto bids went without going too high with too big a jump himself. I don't think $152.50 has overbid the value for that piece.

That makes sense...I think I was stuck on the auto bidder chasing the non-auto bidder...when it was actually the otherway around.

To: "MarkeytMaker":
yes, there are a whole lot of bids here, but that can happen on any given eBay auction at times. It all depends on the bidders in a given auction sale.
