Hi Guys,
First of all congrats to Alexdakar on his SDKfz 252 repaint...superb work Alex and thank you for making this great looking little K&C vehicle look...even greater!
Second, more congrats to HB on their new Tiger...I hope it does well for you.
Third, “Everybody Comes to Rick’s” another terrific idea and well executed. The reason we (K&C) could not produce such a “themed” set is simple...Warner Bros. Copyright. A few years ago I tried to approach WB about doing something like this.
Their eyes shone...they loved my idea...and then we spoke money...Film Studios, perhaps rightly so, want big, big bucks to let you use their movies...characters and so on. Also movie stars (dead or otherwise) also want their piece of the action. So, all in all, unless your company is Franklin Mint or Conte Collectibles with deep, deep pockets you can put this idea on one side and get back to reality.
Sorry to disappoint but that’s just the way it is...Oh well, back to the saltmines...
Best Christmas wishes and...happy collecting!
Andy C.
