Hi Guys,

First of all congrats to Alexdakar on his SDKfz 252 repaint...superb work Alex and thank you for making this great looking little K&C vehicle look...even greater!

Second, more congrats to HB on their new Tiger...I hope it does well for you.

Third, “Everybody Comes to Rick’s” another terrific idea and well executed. The reason we (K&C) could not produce such a “themed” set is simple...Warner Bros. Copyright. A few years ago I tried to approach WB about doing something like this.

Their eyes shone...they loved my idea...and then we spoke money...Film Studios, perhaps rightly so, want big, big bucks to let you use their movies...characters and so on. Also movie stars (dead or otherwise) also want their piece of the action. So, all in all, unless your company is Franklin Mint or Conte Collectibles with deep, deep pockets you can put this idea on one side and get back to reality.

Sorry to disappoint but that’s just the way it is...Oh well, back to the saltmines...

Best Christmas wishes and...happy collecting!

Andy C.

Thank you for your kind words about "Everybody Comes to Rick's" With K&C figures like those, it's easy to get inspiration. I fully understand the copyright issues and costs involved in doing a Casablanca set but am happy to hear you were thinking along the same lines.

Thank you too for issuing a group of German naval figures. I had written to you about doing figures from other services during WWII including some of the female participants and so I truly appreciate the appearance of this new set.

Finally a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to someone who makes it seem like Christmas all year long for us collectors.

No worries - We get all the enjoyment we need from the great products you & King and Country produce on your own.

It has been a great year for the Toy Soldier Hobby with all your wonderful releases - I just realized that I almost have a complete collection of AK figures and my King Country Collection in General grew twice fold this year !

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !

Ron

I was just talking about hanging out with Darrell and Woody at Chicago with Bill Sager not 10 minutes ago.

Bill is doing well. His phone number changed because he changed carriers. He has been busily shipping out the Christmas orders, and has been collecting the new warbirds for himself.
