For those who might be interested I just put up a new page on my blog devoted to depicting the Officers of the Scottish Regiments of the British Army - 1914, as done by Greenwood & Ball in the 1950's and 60's. You may have inadvertently overlooked the accompanying text. Both the Gordon officer by Rose and the Black Watch officer by Imrie-Risley were 'Mentioned in Dispatches'. I painted them both myself in younger years. Glad you enjoyed them.
