Aah the Boulangerie....apart from Waterloo Fromelles and Verdun; one of the best things about Belgian and French culture has to be the bread - uh, and the cheese (when I was younger it was the wine) - I do like the diversions away from the purely military that this hobby takes - folk in uniform over the ages did actually lead lives with other facets than shooting and stabbing. Extras like this make the hobby more rounded and richer - thanks Andy

Missed the waffles and had frites with Moules at Dunkirque - yumm. But the chocolates in Belgium are just wicked.....will try the waffles next year.
