Where is a good place to sell these besides ebay? This Forum is awesome but it always seems to be "late" model stuff.
Is there an antique spot?

I think there are a bunch of guys in here who would buy 'em. If you post what they are, I think you will get some takers.

The forum is a good place to start! Especially if they are rare or unusual I suspect that there will be an interest.
I'm curious!

Hi Grant. Or even "broken"examples. A lot of fun can come out of fixing up an old soldier! I seem to recall that you picked up quite a few battered examples a while ago?

Give some a try on here, perhaps - along with a pic or two? If they don't sell - what have you lost?

Just don't get too upset if they re-appear some time later - looking all bright, shiny and new!^&grinjohnnybach

Well I have 2 sets for starters
scots greys- set 32 still tied in box- and the box is incredible
general officers set 201 good box
and some others.... I havent figures out what sets they are yet-because ther eis no bos - but they are all in good shape and seem to be hollow cast cavalry types- perhaps Iwill try to load up some pics tommorrow.
to be honest I have a fairly good idea what they are worth-Checked in against OTS Auctions... just worried about finding the buyer....I will be at chicago- I suppose I could bring them there, unless any serious inquiries want to pm me.

PM is best- I don't want to lead on anyone here- but I do want to sell and/or sell trade...

Hate to say it but eBay is probably your best bet.

I hear you Johnny- if there is more metal than paint I say paint it!! These figures aren't 'boot" sale items- but had been bought from a reputable dealer many years ago and displayed behind glass. I was in the right place at the right time, and paid a good price for them, from someone that just didn't need the money or want the soldiers either.
You should have seen the trains! if I knew anything about them I would have probably done well speculating on those.

Maybe I will hold off til Chicago or in the least call the local britains collectors.

Would love to get my money back, keep the band, and HRH, and do some catch up my WW1 and zulu collection, and or, start my Britans nile collection.
