Old Guard (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

Just to set Ron’s mind at ease… Napoleon’s Old Guard is not, I repeat not, being retired! Reinforcements are on the way… Watch this space…

Vive la Garde… Vive l’Empereur… Vive l’entente cordiale!
Best wishes and happy collecting.

Andy C.

Hey Andy,

Reinforcements? More targets for the British? :D

Old Dragon....I notice the Russian gun is much bigger is it and if so...it must be a 12 pounder next to the 6 pounder? I don't have the Russian one yet to compare the 2...

WELLINGTON

Also wanted to say nice collection!!!

Wellington, the Russian gun is a 12 pound foot arty piece and it is a great looking gun.

That is great news! Time to start building the up the cannon fodder for my highlanders:D. Just kidding Ron, well sort of, I've held off aquiring the old guard for fear of an early retirement but no longer! Thanks for the info Andy.

Thanks SABER...wish I could get it but blew my money on a cutlass.....

WELLINGTON

Cutlass, Sabre, Toy Soldiers .... it's all good to me;). That Russian gun is a beautiful piece. The way the figures are kind of in squatting action poses seems to make its easier to create a multiple gun battery with the appearence of different crews, that or my eyes are worse than I thought:eek:.

Honestly ... all the K&C NAP guns are great pieces. Also the wheels may rotate, which the same cannot be said for all guns by other manufacturers.
