A while back I went to this trippy place called Maidstone England. If my memory is working correctly its in this county called Kent. There they had a whole show of reenactments of various conflicts and fighting vehicles.

So that's when I spotted a WWII artillery tractor and limber. Except the one I saw there had American markings on it. Who can't love the Stars and Bars.

I believe the first sets of these was a very early EA version. I sent mine off to a dude named Alex Prieto and he completed the repaint you see below.

I know I'm biased but have to admit, if I had to chose between the two, I would keep the older version. It's not a knock as the new version is pretty awesome dude. Just my style I guess.

Keep it silly.

Chris mate, you needed to zoom your camera in a bit more so that grey Tiger tank wasn't showing and it didn't distract Wayno from your thread topic! {sm2}{sm4}

Regarding the tractor and limber versions, I can see what you are saying and the old version does look good with the repaint but I still reckon the Morris gun tractor is better. That said, I would like to see another Chev Blitz gun tractor made someday.

Difficult choice . But if I have to choose I choose the old version.
guy:)

The old and new versions are from different toy soldier collecting eras.

I think the old version has a character the new version does not have. Like the old style opaque windows and a correct camo pattern/colour. I have the old version and would not trade it for the new version. If I didn't have the old version, I would have bought the new version.
