I do not think that this fact has something to do with the recession IMHO, this auction prices were normal prices (with exception of the prices paid for Kingcast and Ducal I buy Trophys sometimes even cheaper... eBay prices are crazy and can not be used as a standard... this is MY personal opinion based indeed on MY personal buying experience

P.S. Please do not forget that this auction had 21% buyer's premium plus "hefty" shipping cost which they usually like to charge.

You definitely got some good deals on the K & C stuff Greg. Makes you wonder about eBay or shows you that the eBay folks had a good idea as far as sellers were concerned.

I won two sets (one for a friend) and the shipping costs were a little high but not terrible, $18. How much did you pay?

I paid about $10 per set to ship , I thoughy that was a wee bit excessive..I agreed and bid , so it's on me...

When I ship I charge $9 so $10 doesn't seem terrible. However, I combine items so so charging $10 per item does seem high.
