I don't collect WWI but man this tank is cool.

I was tempted to buy this tank and the British tank but I went with the Figarti V1 and V2 rockets. Maybe next year or at Christmas.

I ordered these tanks before the show, good value! They are a great buy, I like the German A7 the best. I also got an artist proof, #12 of 12, so that was an added bonus! While at the show, I saw it in person and loved it. I aslo met Dave L and he was a true gent!

Good stuff for the WW1 collector.

ONTC had a great time this past weekend in Chicago. It was a lot of fun spending time with Tom and Alex at our booth and meeting just tons of enthusiastic collectors! 2009 will see many new releases - quite a few were on display in prototype form and many more are currently on the work bench.
Thanks again to everyone who stopped to say hello and offered their support and comments. It is all much appreciated and we look foward to seeing all of you again soon.

I really liked the prototype that you guys had of the Matthew Brady photograph: the soldiers resting by a fence. I thought that was outstanding.

Thanks Brad!
Rick actually got hold of a high-resolution copy of the photo from the National Archives which revealed that the captured Confederates are all carrying Union gear - Canteens, haversacks, knapsacks etc...
Do you think Brady 'dressed them up' for the photo? He posed a lot of his work. Since the photo was taken more than a week after the battle at Gettysburg they could have been deserters, prisoners or scavengers. They sure still look defiant!

Did anyone see the upcoming hand to hand combat sets for WW1.

They look awsome!

Here is another photo of the tank.
