In Operation Overlord during World War II, one of the five essential beach landing areas was Omaha Beach.

American troops played an integral role in seizing Omaha two key beaches, ‘Omaha’ & ‘Utah’.

Here shows an overview of the "Omaha Beach" display diorama. This stunning image is dedicated as a great tribute to the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.

Another wonderful diorama, my Dad would have appreciated this. Landed around 10:00am. He served with the 116th Field Artillery, 29th Division, artillery observer. Wounded twice.
