Some serious tools there and they are working hard to produce a nice diorama piece. Robin.

Tried to make it old. I'm hoping to create a desperate fight to hold on to it.

I just love the wood palisade work! And the towers! You got such a great look to them, weathered and perfect!

Is that foam or plaster for the walls? You might add a spackle/acrylic paint "stucco" coat over the walls (like the Romans did on more permanent forts). You can scribe stonework on some small areas, and not spackle, to look like...well...destroyed/damaged stucco. Easy, quick way to get a LOT of detail.

If you wanted to, you could also put a half round wooden log over the joints between stone wall sections. If you want it in sections for storage and such, just glue the half rounds on one wall edge, so it will overlap the adjoing section.
