I found it fascinating and hilarious that he can glue 25 figures on a single popsicle stick in order to paint them.{eek3} -- Al

He is dedicated. -- Al

Yes he is...............dedicated.....:wink2:

I'm shocked to read he's also divorced, never would have guessed.......:rolleyes:

The part that got me was when he said the figures on this table represent about 6% of the collection; he'd need an area the size of a volleyball court to properly display them all; at that point, you've come off the rails.

Hey as long as he's happy, I guess in the end that's all that matters.

I bought some 10mm and couldn't even tell what they were looking at them let alone paint something half that size.{eek3}If you go to different blogs on the internet related to toy soldiers you would be amazed of what some of these guys do.Just look at John Reid's work on here and a couple of the Alamo guys.

I now feel very insignificant with my 2000 figures .... {sm2}
Very interesting story but I have to wonder what life the guy has beyond his painting 10mm figures.

If he ever did give them to a museum what would he do with himself .. :confused:

And you should; my advice is to buy another 8,000 K & C AWI figures pronto and get with the program.

I can just see the guy now; "I DID IT, I PAINTED 250,000 FIGURES, MY LIFES WORK IS COMPLETE, I AM FINALLY DONE!!"............then he goes face down onto his coffee table, that's all she wrote............

I think this man has had a full life,Lt. Col.in the army,has seen action,wife and 3 kids.He has done more than paint figures I believe.:wink2:
