Just came back from a day at the Imperial War Museum. One of our vehicles is a Daimler 4x4 Armoured car.I was looking at this today and i think it would make an excellant K&C release, its a real nice vehicle and it looks like in armoured car terms it packed a punch. The version we have is in the sand and Black camo of 1943,i know John has suggested this before and i would like to second it!.

Thank you Simon. What do you think chaps,K&C material?.

Rob

I think a resounding yes. It's EA and therefore needed to counter the K&C AK onslaught.

Simon

Thanks Simon. Classic K & C material without a doubt.

This would be great for driving in London traffic.

...and even better for parking it in it!

If no spaces are available then I see no problems parking when owning one of these! Just start a second level on top of what is already there! :D

When you come to oblitarating parking obstacles, you want the Jagdpanther!:D

Rob

Thats the one!,but i couldn't explain the three shell holes in the side,so they won't let me drive it anymore!:D

:) Hello Rob! I think the Daimler Armourd Car will be used for the 'NEW ' Arnhem WW2 Sets, forthcoming! But, the HUMBER MKII/III, and the DAIMLER AEC Armoured Cars, was used Primarily in the Desert, N. Africa by the 8th Army! So, I hope Andy has these 2-Armoured Cars on his Back-Burner Plans Soon! Also, I just came across the BEDFORD QL, and the Ford WOT2h Cargo/Utility Trucks, shown in the AFV Modeller magazine! They're what we need for the British army on both Fronts N. Africa/Europe! CIAO!

Does anyoine know if the car used by Michael Caine (Lt. Col. Vandeleur), in A Bridge Too Far, is a Daimler Armored Car? I thought it might be a staghound.

I think it was a Humber Scout Car, but not 100% sure?

One of these for the Arnhem range would be cool.
