Well, he could easily take the little armored scout car he did for the 8th Army, and repaint it for Arnhem (preferably with a "Michael Caine" look alike figure to match the "Sir Anthony Hopkins" and "Sir Sean Connery" look alike figures he did for the second Arnhem release.

Now you're talking. I was hoping Andy would do just that. Do you think he might redo some of those figures? I would like the two Louis mentioned and General Horrocks (Edward Fox) as well.

And how about the Polish officer played by Gene Hackman?.

He did do "Edward Fox" Horrocks figure - I just forgot the actor's name. The figure stands in front of the map with the pointer, just like the scene in the movie with the "cowboys and indians" speech -"30 Corps, well, we are the Cavalry".

Yes. General Sosobowski is also a must. Also if we're making a wish list on this - Major Cook (Robert Redford), General Bittrich (Maxamillian Schell) and Col. Bobby Stout (Elliot Gould) and that wonderful Baily Bridge. :D

"This isn't going to be the easiest party we've ever attended, But I still wouldn't miss it for the world"

I couldn't agree more!! Great suggestions Jim! I would also love to see an action version of General James Gavin resembling Ryan O'Neal.

Now you're talking Louis. :D And I forgot General Browning (Dirk Bogart). "The only thing standing in our way now is the weather". :D

You know how its done -- A general address' his officers --

No names no foul. :D:D

If we really want to stretch it....how about the bloke running with the supply drop on his shoulders.....he so nearly made it!

What would be cool would be James Caan, the jeep and his wounded buddy. :)

It is without doubt, my favorite war movie. If you add James Caan, you'd have to add the doctor he holds at gunpoint. ;)

The gent with the Umbrella is a must: "I'm sorry, we don't have the facilities to take you all prisoner."

James Caan and the Doctor he held at gunpoint would also be beyond cool, but I don't expect we will be getting any American Paras in this release, only British paras and maybe some 30 Corps vehicles.

Umbrella guy is way cool. Just a figure of him in camouflage strolling with that umbrella would be perfect. Hey how about a cutaway of a C47 with the troops inside. Especially the soldier holding the rooster. :D

I can hardly wait for the Arnhem range,i'm like a kid on xmas eve.Do you think we will see pics in August?.

There are other figures from war films that would be good.'Steiner' Cross of Iron,or how about some Norwegian resistance from 'Heroes of Telemark'.

Oddball!
You know you'd buy it, if it were released. :D

So, a K&C Oddball commander figure, in a new HB Sherman firing a purple paint round at an NMA 88mm. It's all coming together now.....
