A good friend of mine, Doug Luna, has one of the largest collections of toy soldiers I know of (11,000+) as well as a substantial collection of Napoleonic Era military artifacts. I imagine you and he might have a lot of common interests to chat about.

I've done this 3 times. One trip I started on the south coast of England and criss crossing the UK to Scotland just visiting Hobby Shops small & large. Went on back roads to out of the way places. I have a friend who lives south of London and is a Model railroader went with me. I took him to places he had never been knew were in his own country.
