Great pictures and lovely new sets. What is that soldier doing in a barrel? Some sort of punishment?

Some really nice WW1 figs there. Wasn't there also a German flamethrower team in one of the OTSN overview pics?

The recreation of the photograph of 3 Confederate prisoners at Gettysburg is my favorite. In fact I met a fellow when I was doing a living history about a year ago that is related to those 3 Confederates. For years that photgraph has been of "three unknown Confederates captured at Gettysburg". As it happens those fellows in the famous photo are all related. Two are cousins and one is a son if I remember right. They lived on the Va./N.C. border, two in one state and one in the other but all belonged to a N.C. Regiment. One of their last names was Blevins and I cant recall the other. This guys grandmother had the photo and before she died showed him the proof that one of them was her grandfather. One of them is wearing a dark colored metal Tag sorta thing. She has a picture of her mother wearing the same thing and then showed him the actual tag that she still owned. He went to Prof. James I. "Bud" Robertson here at Va. Tech and after a long struggle finally convinced him who the soldiers were. Guess who took the credit for figuring it out? Right, good ol' Bud. It was a treat to hear him tell the story and he brought all of his documentation and showed it to me. I have met him several times since and always enjoy hearing him talk about the photo. I would like to buy that set and give it to him for his dresser or whatever. I'm sure it would mean a great deal to him.

Does anyone know if those three Confederate prisoners are going to be offered by ONTC? They don't show them on their website and I would like to get them for that friend of mine.

Captain - great info! The set will be out this coming Spring. The set also contains Matthew Brady with his camera and a Union guard. I will keep you posted as to the exact arrival date.
Thanks for the kind words,

Dave

I think it's a great looking set and am planning on getting it. Any idea on pricing yet?

Also, if you remember, can you please post here when it's available. Thanks.

Brad,
Pricing is still TBD - I will post pricing and will keep everyone informed about availability. Talk to you soon.
Dave
