This thread could go on for sometime I think. There maybe a few horses left that still aren't dead.

I don't collect HB but then again I only recently heard about them through being on the forum. I certainly think there are people scooping more than one set. I could be one of the newbies that decided to get into collecting HB and I don't see why not the new sets are excellent. From what has been posted I would almost feel guilty if I decided to collect HB. Don't worry though guys I have no plans to.

Hopefully next year at this time things may improve for HB and there will be less bitterness on the forum.

As an Honour Bound dealer, I see this as nothing more than a number Ana feels comfortable producting; nothing more, nothing less.

The problem arises when speculators buy multiples under the assumption that due to the limited quantities, they will be worth money on the secondary market.

I unwisely expressed my thoughts on that subject in another thread, I'm not going down that road again.

As John pointed out, HB items to this point aren't pulling huge numbers on the secondary market, so I would guess that trend would continue with these sets. I really hope the majority of these sets end up in the hands of true collectors, not speculators so that true collectors end up paying inflated aftermarket prices.

I am sold out of both sets and as my late Italian grandfather used to say "Justa to make sure everybody happy, I give all of you kids ONE!"

Time will tell.

I imagine Ana must find this amusing, I know I do. She stated the number of products she normally sells, and designed this last release to

sell out so she did not have any inventory left unsold. I'm sure if anyone contacted her and paid the cost she would be happy to make what

ever they requested while she is still producing items.

It is unfortunate that her items were not more popular in the secondary market, especially considering the time she put into producing them.

I just don't see the speculator angle for this product. Its also quite humorous when you take one look at Ebay. There are almost more collectors/speculators

dealer/investors/exterminators....whatever selling King & Country on Ebay then authorized world wide dealers.

One has to wonder where all these people came from.....and who they are.

Maybe we can get them to all wear funny hats:)

Maybe if they do remain at the 35 limit the dealers could perhaps limit the amount of sets one person can buy, thereby giving more people a chance to own a set?.

Really looking forward to the first pics of the flamethrower team.

Rob

I don't do this but somebody could get someone else to order for them.

The posts that were here regarding Investing/Collecting have been moved to the Miscellaneous Thread as that seemed a better place for them than here.
