Opinion on Figarti minatures (compared to King and country) (1 Viewer)

I like my iraq war figures. They group up really well. This is the only line I own of theirs. In that regard, the KC figures are larger so I am sort of segregating them in my dioramas.

AFVwise- my Figarti Abrams tanks are my most favorite vehicles in my collection, across all the producers. They are very very special to me. I hope he gives us a Bradley soon though (hint, hint {sm4}).

No one mention their diorama/scenic pieces. I own their destroyed Iraq buildings- quality- FIRST rate, priced for any collectors budget.

The modern figures are very interesting. I have all of them. They were done quite a while back, they were all well done, and very consistent 1/32nd scale.....Go figure. Alex

I like them and use them all together. The tanks are the best at present IMO but others are catching up. Figarti figures vary but are also improving IMO.001zred.jpg001br.jpg535red.jpg111red.jpg075red.jpg

Having been a 1/35th scale model builder, before entering the Toy Soldier world, IMO todays figures, by all manufacturer are military replicas.

I can't deny it....Everything out there is incredible.........But there is something about Figarti that captures that 1/35th scale model feel. And I know that is what Rick is striving for. This approach may not be for everyone, but I love it ! .....I really dont the title Toy Soldiers.....It makes me feel a bit creepy at 58 years old. Alex

I have the Figarti Firefly and think it is a superb replica. The weathering on Figarti tanks, small details and the like are top notch. They vehicles have a different feel to them than K&C, the paint is more drab. K&C vehicles are painted a little brighter and are definitely catching up to Figarti in terms of quality. I like both, the preference is up to the collector. My last point is price. Figarti used to be a lot more expensive than K&C but the price gap has closed over time. As for the figures......hands down K&C is my favourite in terms of sculpts, paint and general realism/feel. Figarti has a way to go here but I do like many of their innovative poses.
I don't think its an all or nothing proposition. There is room for both manufacturers in a collection and the pieces (as seen from many of the pics Treefroggers have submitted on this thread) definitely work well together. :smile2:

Two great manufacturers, one same goal: satisfy us! IMHO both are wonderful, and they complement each other and their AFV's and figures go along very well, despite their style differences. Buy what you like and appelas to you; after all, not every single WWII piece that comes out I fall in love with... although I do with the majority!

Fantastic pics from both of you. As a Soviet collector, I'm super envious of your Brit howitzer. Just looking at makes me fantasize about what Figarti could have done with a 122 or 152 howitzer, but we got a 76 :(
