Opinions Wanted: German Figures That Work Well w/JJD AFV's (1 Viewer)

Giving some thought to collecting the JJD German Armored Fighting Vehicles . . . What manufacturer's figures, ie tank riders, would fellow collectors recommend that they have found to work well with John's AFV's (WB, First Legion, War Park)? Does anybody have an idea if John is planning to offer his own suppor figures for his AFV's? Thanks in advance . . . .

The JJD German AFVs are among the best tanks in 1/30 scale, IMHO. The Panzer I, Stug III, and Jagdpanther are fully detailed with complete interiors, working hatches, movable guns, etc. They are really nice models

As for figures that work best, I’ve had the best luck with figures that are closer to actual 1/30 scale (First Legion, War Park, etc.) than with larger figures that are closer to 1/28 scale (K&C, Thomas Gunn, Collectors Showcase, etc.). Here are a couple pics of my JJD Stug III with First Legion “Stalingrad” Germans and War Park tank crew as well as pics of my JJD Jagdpanther also with First Legion “Battle of the Bulge” Germans and War Park tank crew.

BTW, I found some earlier pictures from when I first had my JJD Stug, but was using some K&C figures with it... You can see they are a tad large and the FL figures look a lot better!

I love FL figures with JJD armor!

W. Britains. Kronprinz and War Park are all 60 mm figures that will scale to JJD Armor. JD has produced tank crew for the Jagdpanther and I expect they will produce more figures in future; given the success of their excellent Panzers.
