It is a shame you are coming to the party this late as they used to be very affordable when they came out. But that is many years ago.

Even at todays prices they are very affordable relative to the quality. Further, we still have some 260 different foot figures that can be purchased today at under $55. Over 500 different figures for under $60. Almost 850 different sets at under $65. If you add the mounted figures that are priced similarly that number goes up to over 900 sets. So the ones that came out several years ago that are still available are extremely affordable particularly when compared to the prices of our newest productions, so he's not really coming late to the party at all and there is plenty for he and others to choose from at lower prices.

I was talking the 5th only. And that argument becomes now moot as they are (mostly) sold out. So in order to collect the 5th, he is coming late to the party. I do not expect you to do another run of them.
But you are absolutely right, the back catalogue has grown impressively and offers a lot. I finished the Prussians and the Austrians as well as the 18th French. Also finished Carabiniers and Saxons. So I am proof that people can strive off your existing figures.
