This was genius and a subject with broad appeal transcending Toy Soldiers. BYTW, done superbly done too!
Hey, do not be scared, but... as I know K&C like to produce german figures (you know the little men with sigruns and so), do you think we can await a Baader-Meinhoff line next year? (Jesus, I am very sorry, forgive me, but I do not see any interesting new K&C line over the last 12 months, also not - Ok, the add-on Brit.Waterloo Guards are an good idea - really interesting aditions to existing lines - OK, two or three of the new crusaders are very fine! - but I think: where is the spirit gone?
As I said before: Guys, sorry for my hard words, but this is my opinion. Collectors Showcase: Dunford's Carabiners!! Brit. Gun team!
First Legion: Best Napos forever! Whole Regiments in realistic poses!
Heritage: Good WWI stuff (german gun and limber, 6 horses and so, a project K&C would not do - so the smaller companies are much more interesting than the big one).
Hans, I would bet you are in the minority with the above statement.

Personally, I have absolutely NO interest in the "Life of Jesus" line and really do not understand why K & C is producing it at all. Especially when there are PLENTY of good ideas relating to toy SOLDIERS that have not been realized yet. But thats just me.
I would think that it's a good way to introduce new blood to the hobby.
Would also be a great way to get collectors wives into the hobby.
Not everyone collects WWII so I think it is a touch of genius to bring out something unique. Personally for me it maybe the series that actually gets me to buy K&C items.

It is wise to diversify your product line and I think this new line will be a winner for K & C. It will appeal to large portion of the general public and collectors after scenery for desert warfare displays. After all, the Department 56 'Little Town of Bethlehem' range has been popular hasn't it![]()
Actually, most of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
