Returned late Tuesday from the show, and what a show it was, just incredible all around, nice to see so many forum members again and for the first time as well, had a great time, actually made it out of my rooms Friday night for some adult beverages, thanks to all who attended, stopped by to say hello and spend their hard earned money with me.

Special thanks to the "vulture", aka, Steven Chong, who kicked off the spending with MMTS Wednesday at noon like he's done the past several years; thanks again for jump starting things Steven.

Here we go......................

Hi George - looks like you had a great show. One day I'll make it.

Matthew

Was there room for anyone else there mate???
Mitch

A lot of displays and product in your room there George........so where did you sleep? :D

Jeff

Thanks for the feedback; I just throw all the stuff on the floor and sleep on the bed.........................;).............I have two rooms actually, the second room has displays on the beds that are easy to just take down each night..................

George, two observations, if I may:

1). George likes dioramas. Some people display their products on shelves. George does not. George, we appreciate you displaying your collectibles like a collector. And going through the work of having to set it up every exhibition anew.

2). George carries the full spread from classical toy soldiers such as K&C to Historical Miniatures such as First Legion.

Thank you for that. :)

Thanks for the feedback Andreas, I appreciate you taking the time to write. The vast majority of my customers like the displays, I am glad you do too and you appreciate the time and effort that goes into it, I like to raise the bar each and every show.

The show promoter loves my displays too, he put me in a good spot the day of the show as a result.....................his commission check is on the way to him as I write this.........

George,

Great to see you at the show.

I don't know how the heck you get all this stuff to Chicago, into a room(s!), down to the Show, and home again. If the US ever does another invasion, you should be in charge. After all, the only difference is the scale. :)

Enjoying my FL Samurai, and looking forward to more!

Great to see you and Walt as well, hope you enjoyed yourselves at the show of shows in the US of A.

I manage to get all the stock in a van, ship out what I can't and sell as much of it as I can so I can get what's left back in the van.

Been at this for 13 years, finally have it down to a science.........

Thanks for the pictures B; man, that really is a lot of stuff, something about getting 20lb's of a certain something into a 10lb bag.............;)

Well I just hope you took a lot less home!

Thanks to you and many others, I was able to see out the rear windows of the van, so I took home less than half of what I had out there, so I was thrilled.........

Hi Warbuff26 - how did you get George to stand still for so long? For as long as I've known him he paces back and forth like a caged lion. :)

Usually to the right.

Matthew
