Thanks to Bernard's magnificent collection, I have fallen for Chas. Stadden's magnificent figures. Bernard is helping me obtain a WWII G.I. and a Dunkirk Beach Master, and pointed out an RAF Battle of Britain Pilot on ebay with a very reasonable buy it now, so I am on my way. I intend to collect all of the WWII and more recent figures that Stadden produced.

Thanks Bernard!:eek::p:D:rolleyes:

Is Meredith thanking him? :D

I guess we know what you will be looking for in Chicago.

Well, I could throw stones here, but I can't as Bernard hooked me on the Civil War pieces a long time ago and has helped me find most.

Chicago should be fun....>Heco, Stadden................!!!!~

Tom

Louis mate,
Have you jumped off the Heco ship. ;) He's me racing all over the State of Victoria to Antique Collectors shows looking for old Heco sets for you and now you gone over to Stadden. :( Next you will be telling me you've gone over to the dark side with another unnamed manufacturer. ;);)
Have a good day, cobber. :):):)
Cheers Howard

Yo Troopers, thanks for the kind words. But as far as Louis goes, he is gone with now lol, once he gets his new Stadden WW11 figures there is no turning back. Brad please don't tell Meridith where I live or I am gone with:eek: Take a look at (Damian0868) Stadden collection its stunning, he doesn't say much but he puts his collection up for you to see. There is also a forum member from the USA with a superb Stadden collection. He has been collecting Stadden models longer than anyone I know, but alas he never puts photos up for us to see his great collection. Talking Stadden there is a one off (Bespoke) Waterloo Chess set in Vectis auction on the 16th September. Its a 1960s set. The description is all wrong IE: saying its from Chas Stadden Studios. Chas Stadden Studios didn't come into being until 1976. Its a Tradition issue you can see the 54mm figures on their site, but of course not the main 60mm pieces it being a Bespoke order made by Chas. But it is a very rare Stadden Chess set well if its Bespoke it has to be lol. Maybe big Ron will wilt and buy it he is always looking for Naps and a guy called Napoleon:rolleyes:, but must warn you Ron the British Army is on the Battlefield as well so you could take another beating lol.
Bernard.

Keep an eye on Ebay, Louis, there're always a couple of the large-scale pieces up at any given time, even more, if you'd be interested in getting the kits and painting them yourself.

Prost!
Brad

Howard, Brad, and Tom,

Don't worry, I haven't jumped off either the K&C or Heco bandwagons . . . I have just added Stadden to the list. Believe me, in Chicago, my primary focus will still be finding more Heco.;)

The Normandy GI and the Dunkirk Beachmaster arrived, and they are spectacular!:cool:

Yo Louis, photos please ASAP Trooper. Now thats you hooked and in the net:D. Got to start working on Brad next (jazzeum) and there will be a stampede to get Staddens lol:rolleyes:.
I wasn't so lucky yesterday:mad::(. I was on a real downer Got five models from the USA but alas the fate we all suffer sometimes two are damaged. So now got to find someone who can do a bit of the old soldering work. A drumstick broken on a Grenadier and a Bayonet broken off an SA80 Scots Guardsman:(. The three that made it as photos.
Bernard.

Yo Simon, no its 90mm mate. Its an Andy Stadden model notice the date 2003 Chas passed on in 2002:(, but he never made any models after 1995. Chas made a couple of the Gulf War will sort the photos out for you.
