Okay I admit it, did I miss this diorama the first time around?

It's terrific. What do you guys think?

Carlos

I agree with you Tom. There are so many unique diorama pieces in his set-up. However, Can you find the Conte church in it?

Carlos
Would not know a Conte church if I fell over it,,,but,,,the variety of buildings etc is awsume....I could not down load the video from this site so I DL .it from Utube.......Love the buildings....the devastation is " like real"....when I have the time I will really study the buildings and make a few notes....so many different styles of architecture......bloody hell..it is one fantastic diorama.... regards TomB

Thanks Carlos for down loading this, amazing detail. Besides the buildings, all those little extra's & accessories, so much going on here. I see the Conte church tower has an extra section added being the clock. Blends in very well with the original piece. This is about as far as any collector would want to go, to have a WW11 village layout with depth in every direction, but in a controlled space. Plenty of ideas here for inspiration for the forum members. salute::, Robin.

This diorama is out of this world. Words can not describe it in My mind. It is just fantastic. The detail is unreal and the builds are just great. Were did He get all those builds? Thank You for the fantastic video. "Mr Colt 45":salute:::salute:::salute::

Were did You get the little accessories in the buildings? Like the wine bottle and all the other small accessories? Thank You

George:

I don't know if this helps. Below is a caption of a YouTube conversation between me and "Jeff1035" on YouTube. Try messaging him on YouTube for more info. Jeff took the original video.

The town is really wonderful, terrific, amazing....Even for its huge size, so many buildings, details, a real museum stuff....

But, honestly, I don' t like the items positioning. It s a bit a confusion: tanks here and there, americans and germans put in one house, some on the other, without a logic of the battle. Making a so big diorama is surely a hard stuff in positioning items. There must be a precise plan of the battle: where to put the attackers, and where the defenders. If the items were put correctly and with more logic and realism that would have been really great.
