I just received my Red Lancers ... and what a work of art they are. I must commend K&C for their beautiful work, as well as their efforts to package their products well, to withstand the rigors of international shipping.
Alas, it was unavoidable that some of the Lancers (as in the case of most Napoleonic figures, with long plumes made by every other notable manufacturer) arrive with ... the plume skewed at an awkard angle
, or actually having broken off.
May I suggest that for future releases, involving figures with long & tall plumes ... that the plumes be packed unattached to the figure, for the buyer/collector to affix with a touch of glue.
For this little effort, we avoid the heartache of seeing our beautiful little soldiers arrive "wounded".
What do other collectors think ?
