I just received my Red Lancers ... and what a work of art they are. I must commend K&C for their beautiful work, as well as their efforts to package their products well, to withstand the rigors of international shipping.

Alas, it was unavoidable that some of the Lancers (as in the case of most Napoleonic figures, with long plumes made by every other notable manufacturer) arrive with ... the plume skewed at an awkard angle :(, or actually having broken off.

May I suggest that for future releases, involving figures with long & tall plumes ... that the plumes be packed unattached to the figure, for the buyer/collector to affix with a touch of glue.

For this little effort, we avoid the heartache of seeing our beautiful little soldiers arrive "wounded".

What do other collectors think ?

I had the same issue with two of my lancers and an earlier dragoon.
fortunately they were easily reattached with a touch of crazy glue.
Swords and plumes should be separte and insertable.
Good idea!

I'm for it. I have had some plume woes, some which were easy to reattach and some that were not. I have had better luck so far with swords but I like the idea of attaching them myself.

Sounds good to me - it is better to do yourself than have to replace the whole figure when something breaks !

Just remember - One Man's Plume is Another Man's Plum ! ;)

NAPOLEON !
