I am currently in Republica Moldova and I bought this item representing Stefan cel mare ( Stephen the great), a christian king who defended Moldova from the Ottomans ( someone similar to Vlad the impaler of Romania!).
Should I paint it or keep it in a statue like look?

Well, I guess it might depend on how much you paid for it and if you wish to sell it some day ...:rolleyes2:

If it is a common piece then ya', sure get out the brushes, but if it is one-of-a-kind the I would display it as a statue.

Maybe use it as a statue in a diorama, sort of what one might find in the middle of a town square .... Just a thought.

Larry, I totally agree with you.

I also thought to display it as a statue in a diorama, also considered that statues in dioramas are not common at all....Anyway,it is made in China and I paid it less then 3 euros.:p

If you had bought two ... there wouldn't be a predicament now {sm3}

Well Popps, you paid LESS than 3 euros - and you're worrying about devaluing it???:rolleyes:

Out with the brushes - looks a great figure - give it a few licks of paint!!!!^&grin jb

Make sure you keep the box and I would not paint it. It's going to worth a fortune in future ^&grin ^&grin^&grin

^&grin, HAHA, right. But you know, I bought 2 and the lady in the souvenirs shop when I bought the second one, told me it was the last one! So, as I paid it 3 euros, in a few years I am sure I could make even 9!
