paint scheme ques.???? (1 Viewer)

just recieved ws01 ws05 ws07 ws08 i already have these sets in my collection and i realized the paint schemes were different between the same sets. my question is was there a first release and then a second with a different paint scheme on these sets?? i read louises book and referenced several sites no mention of the different paint schemes so just need some feedback from the experts thanks john and these sets are matt finish.

I have doubles of the first 9 sets in WSS collection and, the paint schemes differ slightly but, that may be down to different people painting them as the differences are not huge.

I am not aware of two sets with different style but, you could photo them and let us see what you mean.

these are direct from king and country from a private collection i saw in louises book the picture of th ws 08 one had light camo and the other had a dark type camo i have a set of each type camo even the set of mps in different paint camo. when i figure how to post a picture i will thanks

There were almost no fixed paint schemes or camouflages for the early K&C sets. If you look at the book you will often see several different versions of each set photographed. Some will have different paint jobs on the bases, as well as different camouflage or different portions of the figure in camouflage. I have, for example, three different early WS05 Military Police sets, none of which have the same camouflage portions (one has a Camouflage helmet, the other two grey helmets, one has a camouflage blouse and grey pants, one ha a grey blouse and camouflage pants and one has both a grey blouse and grey pants on the same figure). Its all just a different interpretation by the painter. All three were sold as WS05.

thanks for the info i got confused thinking there was set scheme for the sets cool so i have a couple versions of the sets thanks
