Hey, guys! Hope you don't mind this post. I really wanted to get the word out!

All the King's Men is pleased to announce that we now have some plastic
versions of our AWI figures, all painted!

As you may know, we have previously offered unpainted metal figures --
and we still do. There's a story behind these new plastics. A couple
years back I did a lot of research into making metal *and* plastic
miniatures. The plastic effort as a whole didn't work for mass
production, but the experiment did produce some prototype figures. I
have had them for a while, and have finally decided to sell them
rather than horde them all for myself!

These figures are identical to our metal pieces, only they're cast in
resin-plastic. They come fully painted, based and terrained in sets.
You can see them here:

Or here if that link breaks: http://tinyurl.com/7n48s2

The catch is, these are all extremely rare. I have what's shown, a
few more different regiments, and that's it! Once these are gone,
they're gone. That's why I was so hesitant to part with them. But
then I realized I couldn't use them all, so why not share?

Please let me know what you think, and if you see any
glitches on the painted figure page.

Thanks! I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Good for you Ken! Now you can teach me how to make PLASTIC figures.
Keep up the good work!

Oh that I could, Harold! The process just didn't sustain itself reliably. That doesn't mean it won't work -- Fortress Figures casts Ron Barzso's stuff in resin by spincasting -- I just got stymied by the process' many hurdles, when metal is much more straightforward and consistent (as you know).

Ken, I know what you mean. It works , but not reliable enough and the figures were fragile. Could not seem to find the right 2 part mix to get Barzo sturdiness.
