If anyone has purchased any of the Last Post palm trees please provide some pictures of them.

Thanks in advance.

I happy with the look. All quality items. Also their terrain mats are excellent, I have 20 so far, they are that good. Robin.

Thanks Robin for your endorsement of the products from Last Post Miniatures. I've been on the fence about their products especially their mats. Do you cut the mats up for your displays?

Cheers,
Grey

No cannot come at cutting the mats, although easy to do. They fit nicely on a shelf and 6 have gone that way under permanent displays. The other 14 roll up reasonably compact waiting for new ideas for me to use them on a weekly basis. The mats are rubber backed and fit contours nicely. Perhaps you could call into the shop which is in your state, one day and see them first hand. I can certainly recommend them. Need one more snow mat which I hope to get soon. Feel free to ask any other questions. Robin.

Thanks Robin. Nearly a three hours drive to Sydney. I did query with them via mail about selling 12" x 12" mats and they phoned me that day explaining about cutting up the mats if I wanted to make a smaller size.

Appreciate your reply.

Grey

Coming in a little late to the game here, but I used Last Post Miniatures Palm Trees and Bamboo sets in a recent vignette diorama with the First Legion Vietnam M113 APCs and in an earlier diorama with the Thomas Gunn Matilda tank. The palm trees and bamboo sets are excellent products! They aren’t priced too high, are easy to assemble, stand securely on their bases (even when used on a more 3D-type terrain base) and they’re generally versatile products. I need to get a set or two of the Last Post jungle plants as well.

Good review and I can support everything stated. Also the proof is in the pudding as aptly shown in these dioramas. Robin.

I will add some pics of my Kokoda set up tomorrow. I have at least a dozen of the palm trees, some jungle plants and the shrubs

They are awesome palm trees. I bought a few tropical palms and a few desert palms. Last Post makes a foliage and i bought some to cover the bases of the desert palm. I wanted Palms for desert scenes and this way i can use them for both desert and jungle

Cool, Jason! Been waiting for you to post some pix of these palms and plants. Really like your background as well.
On a side note, can't go wrong with Aussies vs. Japanese.

I have a few Last Post mats now but none of their palms.

Been wanting to add some to my bookshelf dio as I don't have too much greenery.

Jungle Village I did a while back:

The last post Palm trees look great and as to mixing Desert and Jungle, you'd need to be a David Attenborough to know the difference ! :salute::

Great setup Jason focusing on your jungle collection. Thanks for sharing.

All,

I just picked up one of the Desert "small" trees and after unpacking I was pretty impressed with the detail of the palm. Currently, I have been doing a lot of research about real palm trees for my backyard and am pretty amazed at the attention to detail.

John from Texas approved...
