Do any of your tank experts know what US unit knocked out Panther #126 of the 12th SS Panzer Division near Krinkelt, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge?

without going and having a read up didn't vernon Mcgarity (probably the wrong spelling) win a MOH for knocking out a panther at Krinkelt?? not sure on the numbers of each tank from memory but, sevral german AFV's were knocked out by his troops that day.

You could start there and work out what units were where in that area. I will have a little look later and see what I can find out

Thanks for the info. I found that Panther #126 was knocked out by an M10 tank destroyer.
