I find it hard to believe that no one has done a Panther D in 1/30 scale polystone. The Kursk battle was the debut of the Panther and the pivotal battle of the Ostfront. Germany was in retreat from that 1943 battle until the surrender in may 1945.
Old Panther turrets were used as fixed gun emplacements during the battle of Berlin. The Panther G was in production from 3-44 to 2-45 The D was out of production by 9-43, replaced by the A version produced from 8-43 to 6-44. The emplaced Panther turret antitank gun was a tough nut to crack. Heavy armor and long range; plus a very low profile.
