Panther tank .... a huge beast (1 Viewer)

A few weeks ago I was visiting the UK and was able to stop at Bovington tank museum (for the second time in my life). I have several pictures of me standing next to different tanks. I like to do this for scale reference when I visit armor museums. The Panther tank is one that reminds me just how huge a tank it actually was. I am 6'0" tall and it makes me look tiny.

That’s a great memory, up close and personal, nothing like it. I also can find a Tiger, Panther and Jagdpanther altogether in one museum here in Australia, very spoilt. Like the camo on this cat. Robin.

I had the same experience with Panther and Jagdpanther. I was very surprised how big they are. I think I was misled by the categorization of “Medium Tank”.
