Recently looking at the Collectors Showcase site and was wondering if anyone has the panther? Is it better than the K&C panther? Never bought from CS before and need a good opinion. Thanks!

They really are very good. Zimmerit can be a little pronounced but some of the smooth are still available I believe. Can not go wrong. IMHO

Its certainly better value for money but, depends on what you prefer as a collector. Certainly, you won't be dissapointed if you go for CS panther or any of their AFV's

I have Panthers by Collectors Showcase, King and Country and Honour Bound. They are all very nice, they each have their own style.

Well had one for a month now & the more I look at it the better it gets , come with metal grill covers & the blown tracks are well cool , only down side was the decals on the turret

I have the 2 K&C Panthers and 1 Collector Showcase Panther, they are all great pieces.

Sorry to hear that CS still has not addressed the decal problem. I have the Wittmann Tiger and the LAH Stug and they are really great models. The only complaint I have was that the decals are inferior. They don't lay down well and they crack and chip. Thought this might have been fixed by now. -- Al

I am lucky to have models from each of the manufacturers who did them. For me, HB are still the best and for VFM CS are winners in todays market K&C's new panther is very detailed and the wheel base is much better than the older version.

Does not really help anyone but, I suppose as HB don't now produce then CS for the reason I have stated
