I see the troll.is still around. For someone that does not like FL. Sure is spending time here. Why is that? ^&confuse

Don't get me wrong, I like FL very much, but THE FACT is that both vehicles have almost the same dimensions, so I was wondering if FoV was really a true 1/32 scaled AVF because we know for sure that Fl is true 1/30, that is all...sorry if that hurts you...

Well this is interesting....It maybe that FOV is closer to 1:30th??? who knows??? it's always hard to tell from a picture as the angle and lighting etc.etc.can be somewhat deceiving......That said I am always looking for less expensive AFV's and TS figures products that work well with First Legion both in quality and detail.....It's difficult because many other manufcaturer's products lack the superlative detail,paint and weathering that one gets with First Legion.....Figarti is the only company that seems to work very well with FL without having to do excessive customization and re-paints.....But...Thank you for posting other possible options.:smile2:...Best Frank
How consistant is F.O.V. with scale and size, within its own line of vehicles? Michael
Not sure on newer stuff, but when I had them about six years ago they were all consistent 1/32 (King Tiger, Tiger, Jagdpanther, Panzer IV).
I'd really like to see measurements, as while they look close in a single pic, the FL still looks larger to me when looking at the length of the tracks/hull/wheel. Can't tell on height or width due to the angle of the pic.
And we're talking about very small differences in size.
The difference between a 1/30 Panzer IV and a 1/32 Panzer IV is 12mm in length, 6mm in width. 5.5 mm in height.
Personally I'd be ecstatic if there were "large" vehicles by FOV that measured very close to 1/30.

I also do have a lot of FoV stuff, but only noted a close scale with panzers IV, thats why I decided to mixed them.
The answer is FOV PzIV is probably a 1/31 scaled vehicle, I repeat that all other models are 1/32, that is why it is so similar in size, the differences compared to FL PzIV are:
Length 9mm
Heigh 3mm
Width 4mm
So if you use FL figures in a diorama it will fit well with this FoV PZIV, anyway sure much better that KnC AFV with its own 1/28 scaled figures {sm4}
Well, I am not sure if I am happy or sad about this since I just sold my FoV Panzer IV for... $30. Were you the lucky eBay winner?
