The bike is packaged seperately from the figures. The figures are suspended on the 2 sides of the bike. It was a very good package job.

ok a good news i think to put on my list, this set go fast i suppose:D

I saw the new WS and DD sets today. Mostly good news. From the pictures I had liked the motorcycle set the best. In person, the German 39H assault gun is much more impressive. Nice interior detail and figures which don't come through as well in the pics. The "Commander's Conference" is a close second. The only knock on this set is yet another Dietrich figure and hands on hips looks way too happy for the situation. The detail is very good though. Finally, the motorcycle set looks a bit flimsy and the driver figure seems stiff and unnatural in pose. A minor disappointment from what I was expecting.

On the allied side, the "Souvenir Hunters" has a lot of character. I had thought the guy holding the German flag and wearing the German hat was a prisoner. He actually is a US soldier displaying the booty. A nice touch

One final note, the Britains WWI figures are also out. Thumbs up on these guys. The facial expressions and styles are right on for the period and very individual. The British Army figures are especially nice. The size may be a concern since they appeared somewhat small to me even for 1/32 - but that may be the result of staring at shelves full of KC.

I agree with Combat about the new WW1 figures, nice, great detail. And I too thought they were a small 1-32. But since they are a seperate era it really doesn,t matter.

If FOV can produce a motorcyle with sidecar that has rotating wheels and moveable steering for less than $25, why can't K&C for $99?:( I got mine yesterday and have the same comments that Combat has. I also agree with the comments he made regarding the other WS sets.;)

Have you held this baby? It is heeeeavy. Nothing flimsy here. Apart from the packaging, which is a totally separate issue, it's quite nice, very nicely done. I don't know what you mean by stiff. He's not out for a walk in the park.

The FOV motorcycle and sidecar is increadible value being one of the best diecast motorcycle models around. I have it and the FOV Kubelwagen plus the FOV Panzer Mark IV set up on a FOV diorama. I removed the bottom of the diorama base (which has the name plate on it) so that the dio sits almost flush on the shelf making it blend well with surrounding displays. I also don't use the clear plastic display covers as they detract from the visual appeal imo.
