Tips anyone on how to unglue the leaning officer???N-P

Just grab your wire cutters, a 5-lb delicate calibration instrument (sledge hammer), and a cold chiesel and go to town.:D

I would place some kind of protection around, or nearly around, the figure (cloth of some kind or cotton balls) and just patiently begin to attempt to move it from side to side with my thumb and forefinger. Or, using a very small wooden wedge, attempt to move it away from the right side of the vehicle to the left. Or, just leave the darn thing where it is and accept the artist's impression of how this particular vehicle and officer are presented as acceptable.:)

Received my Panzer Myer today. As expected, the model is in the true spirit of KC quality, accuracy and detailness... WUNDERVAR! But, the fixed crew looks smaller. I guess if you remove the the leaning officer, you can get away with the fixed seated driver and 2 radiomen (Andy did it on the GREIF and why not on this one?). You can always put the officer back with a tacky wax. Tips anyone on how to unglue the leaning officer???

The Supply Depot was also great!

I am also curious if this is possible. If someone can come up with a suggestion, I will be buying one of these. I mean, like a million of them was made. Should be plenty out there....Michael

I can undertsand why Andy decided to make the driver and two radio operators stationary, especially the driver, but it would have been nice if the officer leaning out of the vehicle was movable. Then again, Andy probably got a little irritated at all the "grief" about the Rommel figure and how difficult some people found it to position him in the halftrack, now the poor bugger has to listen to us gripe about not being able to move the figure where we want him. Sorry Andy, ****ed if you do and ****ed if you don't.
Either way, it's an awesome piece.:)

The PM still appears to be available from many dealers. So I guess the strategy of making more worked or didn't depending on your perspective. It is a great piece though and that is what matters most.

I agree Availability doesnt seem to be a problem with this model,
But as has been said it realy is a very nice piece .
As was discussed on the forum 1250 seemed a fairly high number
for a ltd piece and may be that is panning out to be the case,

It's good to see certain ebay sellers who are related to dealers not having the ability to make huge profits on this item and that's it is available to all at the original price.
