Have a request about these new K&C tankers on parade.. The reich pretty much stopped with parades during the later stages of the war,, Does anyone have a photo of these troops in parade formation??

I have not seen parades as such like pre-war SS formations but, what I have seen is senior german officers visiting divisions such as the Das reich, Lah and, one photo of the Totenkopf parading in the field before a battle in front of eicke.

I have seen in some of the SS books I have the Das reich parading in the field after battles with medals being awarded and Hausser standing with a soldat with a banner.

Was surprised with the officer and sword but, Andy must have refrences for that pose.

I will source out the photo but, books at the moment are packed as I am decorating the house and, its a right state.

Could these fighting HJ figures be used in an Arnhem or Operation Market Garden scene?:)

Arnhem44...

Why not? They certainly could double up for Hohenstaufen or Frundsberg troopers and, as I said earlier they are great action poses

I have a volume by the german publishers "Dorfler" about the 12ths SS HJ Division, it's a photo book and in it is portrayed the funeral procession for the death of its commander Fritz Witt (killed in Normandy). There's a column of SS soldiers in the usual green grey uniform, but at the the head of the column are a standard bearer and two sword bearing officers or NCO dressed in panzer black ss uniforms..they are identical to the new figures by K&C.

cantinetozzo...

Could you post the ISBN or title for me I have some stuff by them but, not aware of the book you mention and would like to see the photo. I have pictures of his funeral in other publications but not of the tank officers with swords
Thanks

Thanks its the same pic I have but, the marching banner and officers look to have been either missed from the negative or, a different photographer.

Opens up lots of new ideas
