Many of these overhyped films don't live up to expectations, but this a good one. It's been a long time since I've seen a "scary" movie. A great film for Halloween.

The prequel/sequel for PA is out in time for Halloween this year. And it wasn't half bad. One of those love it or hate it type movies. If you liked the first one, you will probably like this one. Who knew a pool vacuum could be scary?

The tag line for the first one was something like "don't see it alone." My wife hates horror films and so I go to it by myself. Not only that but it turns out the movie theatre is empty. Not a soul in the entire place. Now that was creepy. I always wondered if they still run the movie if no one shows up.

Paranormal Activity 2 was the top movie this weekend in the US. Taking in $40 million plus. The original was made for 15K and made over $100 million. Someone made a boatload of money off that one.
