I stumbled across this website. Looks like this company "Forty-Third Limited" has accuired the Phoenix molds (S&D Models) and is producing them again.

The prices seem rather expensive to me. :(

But at lease they are available, so I guess that's a good thing.

I think I've seen that announcement before, but I didn't see the prices. £8 for a 54mm foot figure converts to roughly $13 today, which isn't too bad, for a new kit. Tradtion are asking £7.95 for a foot figure (British grenadier, Seven Years War), so it's about in line.

Thanks for posting this update! There are a lot of us Phoenix fans out there, who've been searching ever since Soldierpac closed up, and it'll be nice to have a fixed source again. eBay pickings were getting thin.

Prost!

I think they are a titch to pricey. I just bought a horse and figure from the UK for £13.50. They want £16.00 just for a horse ! I will probably pick up some of the accessories though tables etc... as they one of the very few people making them.

When SoldierPac was doing production, they were 5 Pounds, and that was a few years ago when the pound was worth something. Metal prices have spiked, too. Well worth it at 8.

Yea, I guess your right Mike. My problem is that I remember when a 1/32 figure was about $3.00 and a mounted figure was about $6-7. {eek3}

"Ya vanna know how much dey cost venn I vas a boy? Dey cost a nickel!"

And I walked 10 miles to school each day, uphill, both ways. :D

I got a few of these castings a month or two back and they are very clean and sharply done.
