A work in progress;

But for starters;

The Early Years;

http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/album.php?albumid=213

and,

The Sudan Campaigns 1880-98

http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/album.php?albumid=212

(I know... I forgot to include the Bengals in there. I am thinking that they might warrant their own album.:cool:)

That above took the better part of my afternoon today, along with a few other related projects that I was able to do simultaneously while those photos were resized/loaded.

The intermediate goal will be to build a catalog with at least one picture of every single (known) Imperial Productions figure. It may take a while, but it will get done.

When I am all done, I will start a new thread that we can sticky or something.

Cheers,
Drum

Re: The Imperial Productions Photo Catalog

Drum,

Thank you!! Awesome!!! Looks great. The photos have incredible detail and the catalog is very organized. This is a real service to all Imperial collectors and I can't wait to see the finished product. Take your time because you have been perfect in the execution with these first two folders in the catalog. It is so cool to see these sets in these groupings. I have never seen many of the early sets and it is such a treat to see them in full color. Thanks again!! Looking forward to seeing the entire catalog up on the Tree Frog website. We owe you.

Re: The Imperial Productions Photo Catalog

Hi Guys,

There are some great looking sets and individual figures in those photos! Thanks for sharing them with us. Makes me wish I had more of them in my collection. I especially enjoyed the Black Watch Parade Photo.

All the best

Dave

Re: The Imperial Productions Photo Catalog

Thanks for taking the time to post pictures of your collection. I don't have any Imperial, but they certainly are stunning figures and there are few in there that I would like to own. Looking forward to seeing what else you post in the future.

Thanks

Scott

Great photos, many thanks, such photos are an excellent resource, great value because there are not that many around. Once again, thank you for the hard work, but I bet you also had some fun taking those photos:p. Am I right or am I right?:).

Cheers,
Paulo

Drum ,
The albums are looking great keep up the good work ,
Realy looking forward to seeing your Gordons make their
debut . [and of course civil war too see just what was
available in this line]

Re: The Imperial Productions Photo Catalog

I just started taking some Gordon/Cameron comparison shots last night and will try to get some of those up soon.

Per your request, I will start with the Civil War sets next. It's the very least I can do for my "man in NZ".

:)

Re: The Imperial Productions Photo Catalog

I, too, would like to see what has been issued in Civil War, when you have a chance.

Thanks a million Drum , a few of those sets I hadent seen before , I,d love
to get my hands on the later union cavalry figures [especially like the guidon
bearer ] also the texas brigade with flags looks like one of the nicest sets in
that range.

I love the latter Union Cavalry sets also. They are his best from that range. The Texas Brigade is very nice, but I generally tend to avoid and abhor all things that involve the word "Texas".

:D:rolleyes:

We nearly moved to texas a couple of years back , but we procrastinated
for too long and our re entry permits for the US expired .[we are good at that in our household :eek:]

The Imperial zulu war figures are beautiful. Do you know if these are still in production?

Alas, they are not.

According to a conversation that I had with Mr. Cowe recently, the molds for those sets are all pretty much shot.

That said, they pop up on ebay all the time.

Good luck,
D

The photographs and the completist sensibility on display here are so admirable that I feel like a real heel wondering aloud when the Napoleonics will be ready. Yup, I feel like a heel asking but I asked and will sit quietly in the corner until the Napoleonics are up. Thanks for the photos to date, however.
