Pics Of Early Arnhem Figures and Vehicles? (1 Viewer)

Thanks Simon. These figures have gotten very expensive lately. There was a single figure from the Captured series this week that I think sold for about $170, a bit more than I wanted to spend:D

I know I was going for it, then got up to $152 then thought screw it lol:p

Here are the old brochures

I've got the actual poster that was the 2nd pic in the list!:DIs great!, was ripped when I got it, from JohnGamble with the AN016, however I was not bothered, is still a great thing! :D

Could someone please tell me if laminating this thing would be a goood idea or not, I think that this may be a valuable item, and would I be ruining it by laminating it or not?:)

Thanks:D

Scott,

Why don't you download and print one from Bill Sager's site, then you can laminate away!

Good idea!:D

It's just that this is one of the actual posters that came out with some of the original Arnhem sets, it is not A4, OR A3, it is inbetween, however I think I will have a go at youridea:D

Just curious what year were these figures released?

There were two series of Arnhem, one came out in 1995 and basically started the WW II craze in 1/30 scale (although that may be a bit of an overgeneralizaton and the second series, which included some reissues of the old sets, with a bit better sculpting, plus some new releases such as Colonel Frost, General Horrocks, General Urquhart, the Bren Gun Carrier and the Daimler.

Here are a couple of extra photos of some of my Arnhem figures.

Thanks Scott. BTW, the building in the background is one of the Arnhem backlot buildings. They're very neat.

Nice!:D

Would be great if King and Country could re-make some of them to today's standards!:D

Do you have all the backlot buildings?:D

HI

I noticed that all the K&C figures were on glass.

I found that they can get scratched/chipped/damaged if you put them on glass or other hard surfaces. Especially the men that have no bases. So what I did is I cut up a load of cork titles to place my figures on, as well as not getting damaged/chipped/scrtached I find it adds a bit if atmosphere.

I have been doing this ever since I started my connection. I know that this sounds quite sad.

I also had some fake grass once and they looked great - but I got rid of it as the wife complained that the grass kept flaking off and getting everywhere. Since removing the grass from the shelves I found my spare roll of fake grass went missing one day, funny that.
