Picture of Railway Station Diorama (1 Viewer)

Its a big chunck of change that is for sure - Louis.

Is Andy bringing any of these dioramas with him ? - I know you have a few and I do look forward in seeing them up close.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you this weekend.

Ron

All the dioramas from the Westcoaster are going to be shipped here for the Symposium, so you should see all the new dioramas in person.

This weekend is going to be great! After the great time I had visiting with the Nevilles today, I can't wait until Brad, Clive and Hans arrive Thursday to get the ball rolling on the Symposium.

Louis,

Best wishes for a great symposium! Some day, I hope I can join the fun!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Yes, Gordon can do that and I think that's been talked about before but there may be a long line in front of you. You should contact him through King and Country.
On the "Exciting K&c News from West Coaster" thread, I posted how a collector submits an inquiry regarding a K&C Work Shop diorama. Submit your ideas to Tammy at K&C Hong Kong with attention to Andy. Andy will review your idea and submit a proposed sketch with the cost for collector's approval. Collectors can modify Andy's proposal. The dioramas that K&C have posted the last few days each take about two weeks of Gordon's time working 10 to 12 hour days. Each building alone took 2 to 3 days. Because of the amount of time that Gordon spends on the a diorama, the cost will be in excess of several thousand dollars. Andy said the price of each of the posted dioramas is $3,500. When I blanched at the price quoted, Andy emphasized that each diorama will be unique and not duplicated. You are getting a work of art.:)

If i had that sort of money to spend(lottery win!)i would be very proud to have a piece of Gordons work in my house. He is supremely talented and for those who can afford it you are very lucky indeed.

Rob
